What better way is there to present a gift item than in a hand-knitted gift bag? The thoughtfulness that went into the gift can be extended to the gift wrap, and this will enhance the recipient’s happiness and appreciation. Well-planned presentation adds to the joy of the gift-giving experience for the gifter as well as for the giftee. And who among us has cleaned up all that expensive wrapping paper after a holiday celebration and not thought about the wastefulness? We live in an age when people are growing more concerned and conscientious about environmental issues and the need to avoid pointless waste. This pattern includes design charts for two different wine bottle sweaters. One has an interesting rib-like texture. Once your gift is received, the recipient can use it to wrap a bottle of wine she intends to gift to someone else. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Share the joy! Neither of the wine sweaters uses more than 40g of yarn, and with one ball of each Palette color, you will have enough to make both sweaters with yarn left over.
