This happy scrappy little ear flap hat design first appeared in Petite Purls Magazine and has now been upgraded with new sizes and put into PDF form.

Two completely separate versions are included—a girly one featuring a row of hearts, and a more masculine version featuring skull & crossbones. • Ear flaps are knit first, then worked seamlessly into the cast-on round. Pattern includes colorwork tips, instructions for tassels and now 6 fully charted sizes from Newborn through Adult. • You won’t get bored knitting this colorful cap or looking at it afterward. It’s a great stash buster; feel free to experiment with colors or moving the charted patterns around.
