This shawl was inspired by the waves rolling towards and subsequently crashing onto the shore on our favourite beach here in Victoria called Chelsea Beach. This was designed in 3 weights of yarn and varying yardages to suit whatever yarn you have on hand.

In the main photo the fingering version is on top, DK middle, and Lace on the bottom.

Materials
3 skeins of Skein Voyage (230 yards/210 meters per 100g) or 530 yards for the DK version
2 skeins of Skein Uptown Sock (400 yards/366 meters per 100g) or 600 yards for the Fingering version
1 skein of Skein Silk Merino Lace (766 yards/700 meters per 100g) or 766 yards for the Lace version
US 6/4 mm 40 inch circular needle (Fingering and Lace versions)
US 8/5mm 40 inch circular needle (DK version)

Gauge
18 stitches and 24 rows in Stockinette Stitch = 4 inches on US 8 for DK version
24 stitches and 30 rows in Stockinette Stitch = 4 inches on US 6 for Fingering and Lace versions
