My life has been touched by cancer in many ways. My sister lost her battle with lung and brain cancer 8 years ago and left 3 precious triplet girls. Now 14 years old, I had a chance to spend some time with my wonderful nieces this past spring. Not identical, each one carries with her a part of my sister I cherish. Together, they are my sister. I designed Cassie, Jeannie, and Chelsea both as a celebration of my sister and as a way to help find a cure for such an insidious disease.*

A pretty lace pattern is featured on the back of these comfy mittens. Easy to execute and fast to knit these mittens will be a favourite cold weather accessory. Knit from the cuff up the instructions also include a fingerless mitt version.
