The name of this pattern comes from the colors I used, and that fact it is sock yarn. I think about the 1950s and “sock hops” and cherry colas! The pattern is a classic cardigan yet with modern features that will always keep it in fashion – unlike the old soda shops!

One thing I have never understood about children’s patterns is why so many are made with worsted-weight yarn. Using a fingering weight, the fabric has drape and doesn’t make the child look like the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters.

This pattern has been professionally tech edited and has stitch charts as well as written instructions. 6 pages in full color.
