Cherry Twist Shawlette is a traditional, top-down triangular shawl comprised of a lace body and a straight-edged cable border. The lace has the appearance of trios of cherries falling down the body of the shawl next to rope-like lace columns, while the cabled border has small twists. It is worked in a sport weight yarn, and I chose to work mine in 2 skeins of Madelinetosh Tosh Sport Merino Wool Yarn, sport weight (270 yards each) in their Cherry variegated shade. After blocking, my shawlette worked out to be 64 inches in length, and 27 inches at its deepest center point. Charts, full written instructions, and complete row counts for the shawlette body are included in the pattern.
