This luxurious cabled throw features a series of striking cable patterns and is finished with a smart i-cord edging.

Fyberspates Scrumptious Aran (45% silk, 55% merino; 100g skeins)
Natural (400) 11 x 100g skeins

Needles and accessories
1 pair 5mm UK 6/US 8 knitting needles
2 sets 4.5mm UK 7/US 7 circular needles, 60cm 24in long
1 set 4.5mm UK 7/US 7 double-pointed needles for i-cord edging
A small quantity of smooth contrasting waste yarn in approximately aran weight
Cable needle (cn)

18 sts and 23 rows to 10cm 4in over st st using 5mm needles

Pattern notes
This cabled throw uses some clever finishing techniques, including picking up and casting off stitches together to join the strips, and adding an i-cord edging to the finished throw. As written, the design needs no sewing at all, although if you enjoy sewing you could join the strips in that way.
