The Cheshire Cat is a beloved character depicted in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. One of his distinguishing features is that from time to time he disappears, the last thing to be seen being his grin. He wants to be your baby’s first toy, loveable, huggable and someone cozy to sleep with. And he won’t disappear! The blanket has a soft swirl pattern. Approximately 20 inches around or about 12 inches tall when folded when knit with worsted weight yarn. Knit in the round, and entirely seamless. If you aren’t crazy about seaming and have wanted to try a seamless pattern this is a great beginner project.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner/Intermediate

All of my patterns are for knitting with dp needles and knitting in the round. No more wasted time trying to sew all those little pieces together. Knitting in the round is really quite easy and much faster than flat knitting. My patterns are written so that they are easy to follow, and include photos and instructions to help you. If you haven’t tried making a toy yet, give it a try, your in for a very pleasant surprise!

If you have questions, I have also added a couple of how to videos to my blog at:
