Update: Pattern now includes instructions for the Stripey Beanie as well.

A simple, slouchy bobble hat that will look cute all winter long. This unisex design can be worn by anyone. Hat is knitted in the round with a turned back ribbing and simple fair isle chevron stripe.

We used 1 skein of Arranmore in Kinnego Bay (MC) and 1 skein of River Esque (CC) for the sample.

When working the chevron pattern, be careful not to pull the yarn too tightly as you want your floats to be nice and loose. Weave this yarn in when it crosses three or more stitches.

We recommend using a pom-pom maker for the bobble, it makes life much easier.

What to do with your leftover yarn? You can make another super cute and simple hat by reversing the colors. Our Chevron sample hat is a size large and we’ve made a small stripey version with a simple brim using the leftover yarn we had. Make one for yourself and one for a knit-worthy friend!
