Chevron Christmas Bauble
This pattern is
available for free.
A very simple stripe bauble pattern worked flat and then sewn around a 7cm diameter polystyrene centre.
The chevron patterns are created with a colour slip method, making it less tangly than stranded colourwork so a good technique for beginners.
The tension and type of yarn are not too important as you can find a polystyrene ball to fit after you’ve knitted your piece if you like, and the pattern is very simple to alter if needs be.
