Pattern description from Knit Simple, Fall 2006: “Knee length, this mod skirt is crocheted in a basic chevron pattern in varying stripes. The drawstring tie is chained with one strand of each color used.”

Tip: “Working this from the waist down in two pieces lets you custom-fit the length and width.”

Notes from Knit Simple, Fall 2006:

  1. Skirt is made in two pieces from the waist down.
  2. When changing colors, draw new color through last 2 lps on hook to complete last st, then ch and turn.
  3. Each ch-1 sp counts as one st.
  4. When inc 1 dc, work dc between 2 sts, rather then working 2 dc into one st.
