The addictive, geometric pattern is quickly memorised, and these socks feature a secret -- additional reinforcing on the gussets, under the heel, and the ball of the foot, where wear and tear typically strikes first!

Size:The pattern is written for a women’s size medium (8in/20cm) circumference foot, but the leg and foot lengths are easily customised. The stitch pattern itself is quite stretchy since it is essentially ribbing.

Yarn: Madelinetosh Twist Light, or any sock yarn, 1 skein

Gauge: Standard sock gauge of 7.5 sts per 1inch/2.5cm

Tools/Notions: Set of 5 dpns 2.25mm/US1; tapestry needle to graft toe; marker for EOR

Skills Assumed: Knit, purl, work in the round and back and forth, slipping stitches, picking up and knitting stitches, decreases (k2tog, p2tog, ssk), Kitchener stitch for toe
