Les Gants Chevronnés sont une bonne occasion de mettre en valeur nos précieuses laines à chaussettes. Ils conviennent aussi bien aux hommes et aux femmes et ont une bonne tenue, grâce aux torsades judicieusement placées.
Le motif est représenté uniquement sous forme de grille, avec une grille par taille, et les explications, notamment le schéma pour la répartition des mailles par doigt, vous guideront pour chaque étape, que ce soit votre première ou votre énième paire de gants.

Les gants sont disponibles en trois tailles:
Tailles S (M, L) : circonférence de la main à la base des doigts : 19 (21, 23) cm
Laine utilisée : un écheveau de Wollmeise “Pure” 100 % Merino Superwash (526 m/575 yds/150 g, 100 % Merino) grosseur fingering/laine à chaussette
Suggestion de laines : toute laine type laine à chaussette
Métrage nécessaire : environ 250 (320 , 400) m
Echantillon : en jersey endroit tricoté en rond 32 m. x 46 trs = 10 cm

Designed for men or women, Chevronnés Gloves begin with a long ribbed cuff to protect the wearer’s wrist. This ribbing is integrated into the cable pattern, which provides not only a decorative element, but also serves to reinforce the base of the palm for durability as well as comfort. They are the perfect gloves to cycle to the best coffee shop in the city and spend hours with your knitting group, as I do every friday evening in the city of Munich, where I live.
The gloves are knit in the round with negative ease and worked from cuff to fingertips. The pattern stitch is worked identically for right and left hands except for the first cable, which changes to yield perfectly mirrored gloves.
The pattern instructions come for three sizes : S, M, and L with a best fit for respectively 19, 21 and 23 cm (7.5, 8 and 9”) above thumb on dominant hand. They provide charts for each size and a diagram of the stitch distribution per finger.
To knit both gloves, you need less than a half skein of Wollmeise Pure 100 % Merino or about one skein of Madelinetosh tosh sock.
Skills required: knit, purl, ribbing, cables 2/2, increases (M1 and front & back), decreases (ssk and k2tog), backward-loop cast on.
The first cable is worked on 6 stitches with three braids and requires two cable needles.
