R2-D2 and Chewbacca are playing the holographic game aboard the Millennium Falcon

Chewbacca: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgh!
C-3PO: He made a fair move. Screaming about it can’t help you.
Han Solo: Let him have it. It’s not wise to upset a Wookiee.
C-3PO: But sir, nobody worries about upsetting a droid.
Han Solo: That’s ‘cause droids don’t pull people’s arms out of their sockets when they lose. Wookiees are known to do that.
Chewbacca: Grrf.
C-3PO: I see your point, sir. I suggest a new strategy, R2: let the Wookiee win.

I made the white sections using the intarsia method, but if you prefer to add them using duplicate stitch that also works fine.

I knit my mittens using the magic loop method, but DPNs works as well, or a short circular needle if that is what you prefer. Please make sure not to leave too long floats at the back of your work. I usually twist the yarn every 3 stitches.’

Oh, and if you publish pictures of your mittens on any social platforms it would be really cool if you used the hashtag #ChewieMittens. But only if you want to, of course.

May the force be with you!
