We designed these adorable mittens to remind us that love is all you need. They are knit in the round, or, if you’re feeling feisty, try making them at the same time in magic loop. The double heart design on the front is made by duplicate stitch.

The name Cheyenne comes from this charming horse photographed below with our co-Founder Kate Madden. Cheyenne is a friendly little pony and decided to follow us around while we were taking photos at a friend’s ranch in Austin, TX. She was very curious about our camera equipment and loved trying to photo bomb all of our shots! We had so much fun hanging out with her, we decided to name our collection of heart accessories after her.

These mittens come in sizes x-small (child), small (petite), medium (women) and large (men). The yarn we have selected for this project comes in so many beautiful colors and one skein is more than enough to make a pair. Get two skeins in complementary colors and you can make two sets of mittens and use your scraps for the contrast color heart designs….and Voila! Instant Christmas presents!

Happy Knitting!
