The groundhog didn’t see his shadow. That means Spring is coming! Be ready to greet the season wearing your new perfect Spring Accessory!

This light, lacy, shawl begins with a garter tab cast on. The crescent shape grows by working yarn overs without accompanying decreases. This creates an easy to execute eyelet pattern which is repeated as the crescent grows.

A Double Garter section adds an interesting stretchy texture without using complicated stitches. A video link is included in the pattern for those who may be new to this stitch.

From there, the stitch pattern changes to Roman Stripe, a reversible stitch pattern that adds interest and more lace combined with texture.

Finally, the bottom border is a simple eyelet stitch.

A Frilled Decrease Bind Off adds a nice, super stretchy edge.
