Designed by Claudia Q for EweKnit

A lightweight receiving blanket knit in naturally dyed yarn. The size of this blanket can be easily customized by working more (or less) of the mitered squares.

Blanket is constructed from mitered squares, starting at the lower left corner of blanket, and building rows of squares until the length of blanket is achieved. A garter stitch border is worked on just the right and top sides of the blanket to balance out the pattern. There are a lot of ends to weave in at the end of this project, so consider weaving them in as you go. If a larger (or smaller) blanket is desired, work more (or less) mitered squares in each row, and work more (or
less) rows of squares. Please keep in mind that altering the blanket size will affect the yarn requirements.
