This pattern includes separate instructions to create 3 different sizes of mannequin torsos, perfect for displaying or photographing your own clothing creations.

The mannequin torsos are made using the single crochet, single crochet 2 together (or known as the single crochet decrease), half double crochet, double crochet, chain, and slip stitch. Careful pattern reading and stitch counting is required for proper shaping of the torsos. Each mannequin requires polyester fiberfill and an infant size clothes hanger.

Yarn used is Red Heart Comfort (or an equivalent size 4 worsted weight yarn) and a crochet hook size G/6-4.25mm or size required to obtain a gauge of 7 single crochet by 8 rows = 2 inches square. The gauge measurement is very important to achieve the proper mannequin torso measurements.

Toddler Mannequin Torso fits approximately size 18 months to 2 years apparel. It requires 380 yards of yarn. The circumference measurements are : Chest = 22”; Waist = 21”; Hips = 22”.

Child-Small Mannequin Torso fits approximately children’s size 4 - 6 apparel. It requires 430 yards of yarn. The circumference measurements are: Chest = 24”; Waist = 22”; Hips = 24”.

Child-Large Mannequin Torso fits approximately children’s size 8 - 10 apparel. It requires 650 yards of yarn. The circumference measurements are: Chest = 27”; Waist = 24”; Hips = 29”.
