The knitting pattern provides full instructions for 3 child sizes S (4-8 years months), M (8-10 years) and L (10-12 years) and there are lots of photos throughout to help you.
The fingerless gloves are a worked flat on 3 mm needles and the hat is worked flat on 3.75mm needles in any dk yarn of your choice.
