“The rolled edge around the crown may appear to be sewn, but it is made with a spare needle and simple K2tog. The turned-back brim is shaped with short rows and is wider in the front. This is a great project if you want to learn how to make short rows. For panache, tie a ribbon around the brim The hat pictured was knit with yarn listed at right; you may use any yarn that will provide the required gauge.”
