Child's Tumbling Blocks Mittens
Pattern Description from Cast On, May-July 2009: “Children’s mittens are a great way to experiment with color in stranded patterns as they use less than a ball of each color and make gifts sure to delight the recipient. With a bit of ingenuity, a matching hat and socks aren’t that far off! These mittens offer a very unusual diagonal cuff, a peasant thumb, and three-point decrease. They can be worn on either hand, but directions are offered for both a left and right mitten for those who like to keep the beginning of the round at the outside edge of the hand.”
