You will need: US#10.5 and #8 knitting needles and yarn to achieve gauge: 3.75 sts = 1” on larger ndls in stockinet stitch. The small/medium size - 980 yds are needed = 41” width including border. For the medium/large size - 1274 yds are needed = 48” width including border.
