Suitable for a beginner knitter, yet classically stylish, Chill Shift is a rustic knit with side panel detail, perfect for chilling out both while knitting and wearing it. This garment can be worn alone or layered, so is a great go-to piece for most seasons.

The pattern is fully written out with detailed explanations and a schematic drawing. It uses just one size needles (5.00mm) and Aran weight yarn, so it is also a fast knit. The construction is top-down, knitted in the round, so no sewing is required.

Chill Shift was designed to be knitted in Noro Silk Garden Solo (taking 8 - 11 balls, depending on the size). This is a rustic yet luxurious silk blend that gives the garment a soft feel, gentle drape and slight sheen, but any Aran weight yarn could be used.
