Chilly Forecast
This hat and cowl set are very easy to knit in the round. The hat is a little slouchy. It is knit from the bottom up, decreasing in pattern over the top and ending with an I-cord top knot. Use a smaller needle for a smaller hat. The swirling stitch pattern is very easy to knit. The hat used 125 yards of Aran weight on size 8-16” circular. Finished size 22” around x 9” tall. The cowl used 130 yards of Aran weight yarn with size 9”-16” circular needle. Finished size 29” around x 6” tall. The two page pattern has written instructions and tips for making the cowl larger or smaller.
