This distinctive hat, inspired by the Chinchero hats of southern Peru, marries warmth and fashion in one fun project sized for kids through adults. You’ll create the traditional scallops from the Peruvian Chinchero hats then use slip stitches, striping, and two colors of yarn, but never more than one yarn per round! Use up bits of yarn from your stash and make a unique hat for everyone in your family. With practice and patience, you’ll be ready to hit the slopes in style.
