A few minutes’ drive, or a leisurely bike-ride, from my house is a park called Chinguacousy Park, or Ching for short. Several generations of my family have spent many hours of their childhoods there, playing on the several playgrounds, visiting the animals in the barn, admiring the flowers in the greenhouse. While we go there in every season (in fact, my older son’s curling club meets there every Sunday in the winter), Ching Park is linked most with warm summer days, days when the light seems to last forever, and time stands still while we play. Ching is designed for those days, to wear in the mornings when the chill is still in the air, or throw on after swimming before heading to the playground – a simple, casual, but still fun summer wardrobe staple.

Ching is a unisex, top-down raglan sweater, with a choice of long or short sleeves. It features a cable detail at the raglan seams and a stranded colourwork section on the body. The colourwork can be worked in as many colours as you like – make a simple two-toned sweater, or use a whole rainbow of scraps.
