This is a triangle shawl knit with three different lace patterns, with the eyelets getting larger as you go to the edge. With help (and I am happy to help you!), this is a good second- or third shawl project as well as a second- or third lace project.

Hopefully, this pattern will bring you peace. These patterns are very easy to memorize once you spend a repeat or two on it, so it is good “get outta dodge” or tv-knitting.

I wanted to use up one of my million leftover sock/fingering mini-balls by knitting complementary edge on a full-skein sock-yarn shawl. In other words, grab one of your leftover balls, pair it with some other sock yarn, and GO!

Or…just use the same yarn for the edging that you used for the body. It’s your shawl, after all.
