Chosen family is not defined by genetics, but rather by those individuals who become our pillars of support, our confidants, and our tribe. Chosen family means those who who accept us no matter what. This cowl explores that journey of finding your tribe, and knowing “You Are Loved”.
The mirrored pattern is worked in the round beginning with twisted rib, then leaning cables transition to a section of morse code that reads “You Are Loved” which repeats three times as a mantra, with the center being fisherman’s rib that can be worked in one or two colors.

Choosing your colors
This cowl was designed for you to play with color, or not, its your choice, its your journey. You can complete the whole pattern in one color, start with one color and transition to a second color in the middle section, use two colors and create stripes or use a different color for each section.
For the “You Are Loved” mantra section it is recommended that you use a lighter solid color if you want the mantra to be visible, on darker, multi-colored or variegated yarns the mantra is more subtle.
