This shawl is intended to enhance the lives of the people who use it, and it is too lovely to fail. The beautiful lace border is knitted with tussah silk and attached to a rectangle of linen. Use it as a christening blanket or as a decorative cloth.

Measurements: Approximately 44” (118 cm) square

Yarn: Pine Tree Yarns 1-Ply Tussah Silk, 100% tussah silk, 3.5 oz (100 g)/437 yds (400 m), Rapunzel

Needles: Three US 7 (4.5 mm) straight or double-point needles 7” (18 cm) long or size you need to obtain correct gauge

Other Supplies: Stitch markers, 1 yd (1 m) of linen, silk sewing thread, sewing needle, quilting and blocking pins, crochet hook, fine tapestry needle, needle stoppers to fit ends of double-point needles.
