These mittens are designed to be knit in the round with a thumb that is knit as you go, no gusset needed. The wrist is deep and size is Adult M/L as written.

You can change the size by downsizing the needles and using a smaller yarn. 60 yards super bulky to 120 worsted weight toddler.

Toddler: DK/light worsted & US 4 (3.5mm) needles
Child: Aran/heavy worsted & US7 (4.5mm) needles
Teen/Women’s Small: Bulky yarn & US11 (8mm) needles
Women’s Large/Men’s Medium: Super Bulky yarn & US 15 (10mm) needles
