This is a free pattern for a supereasy vaseholder, so you can make a little vase from a Christmas ornament. Both written and charted pattern and photo tutorial for the starching.

Cotton yarn in fingering/ 4 ply

Metallic thread in matching color.

One could also make the item in a thicker metallic thread.
