8 ply (DK) yarn can very easily be substituted in this pattern.

NOTE: The absolute BEST FEATURE of this pattern is that because it is crochet and NOT knitted, you can fit it SO easily to ANY pot shape.
You will NOT have to work out how many stitches to cast on !!!!
