This stocking begins with the I-cord band; stitches are picked up from the I-cord and knitted downward in pattern following a color chart. The heel is knitted using a heel flap and gusset,and the toe is a round toe.

Materials needed are 1 skein each of two colors of LPW; a 16” circular needle, size 6 (or use size 6 dp needles); size 6 dp needles; two size 8 dp needles; a safety-pin type stitch marker; and a yarn needle.

The pattern includes color charts, written instructions, tips and illustrated technique instructions, and lots of photos of the project in progress.
