These chunky knit pocket bags are quick projects which are great for using up any spare bits of wool. Easily adapted and decorated for a project bag as unique as you are.

This bag is perfect for storing your knitting notions, gadgets, or any number of small items that just need something to carry them in.

Designed to be chunky, it can be knit in various yarn weights:
Aran (used double): 6mm needles
Chunky/Bulky: 7mm needles
Super Bulky: 8mm needles

The main part of the bag uses around 30g of yarn, with small amounts for additional strips and/or embellishments.

Make your bag your own

This bag can be knit as a simple strip, or pick up stitches to create stripes or modular design. You can easily adapt it by using more or less rows, bigger/smaller needles or thicker/thinner yarn—experiment to see the effect.
