If you’re new to cabling this headband is a great way to start adding your new-found skills to more items. You’ll be comfy-cosy in no time as this is a quick knit. (beware of everyone else asking for a headband once you’ve finished your own!)

If you’re an experienced knitter you can have these ready to wear in an evening and if you’re new to cabling, the thicker weight yarn is a perfect way to get a better view of the cable as you go.

You’ll find two styles in the pattern, one with just 3 cables in centre of band (see blue headband photo) and one with seven cables (green headband photo)

Who is this for?
This pattern uses cable knitting techniques. You will only use the beginner terms that first-timers use in cabling, and we’ll be cabling on a knit row and on a purl row.
If you’d like step-by-step videos as you knit along with this headband, you’ll find it in the Crafty Cables course.
