Materials:
Circular needles sizes US 17, 24”, US 19, 32”
Double pointed needles (DPN’s): US 17, US 19
Cable needle for chunky yarn
large crochet hook
Large eye darning needle
Scissors
stitch markers for large needles or small rubber bands

550 yds of 125yd/4oz. chunky yarn or double worsted weight yarn.

Abbreviations:
k: knit
p: purl
st, sts: stitch, stitches
+: knit one round or row in pattern

: next round or row

cbl#st/#st: cable number of type of stitches IN FRONT OF number of type of stitches
cbl#st#st: cable number of type of stitches BEHIND number of type of stitches
PU: pick up
m1l: make one st between sts with a left slant\
m1r: make one st between sts with a right slant/
CO: cast on
BO: bind off
rnd: round
k2tog: knit 2 sts together
rev2ktog: reverse the next 2sts and then knit them together
pm: place marker

How to do the shortrows:
w & ret#, w: at the end of a right side short row wrap the next st purl side first and then rev work to knit back to the beginning of the right side short row plus a st (thus knitting a wrapped st), wrap the next st purl side first, rev work to begin next short row.
