This chunky chicken pattern is an adaptation of the Magic Balls Chicken Tea Cosy pattern in a standard chunky yarn. We couldn’t keep up with the demand for the packs of Magic Balls so re-designed the Tea Cosy and added a base so you can make a cushion/doorstop instead.

The body is knitted in Moss stitch and the wings in Stocking stitch. It is worth trying to knit the feet and legs using i-cord technique to avoid having to seam the legs!
