My sister wanted a chunky pullover in garter stitch and sent me 2 photos of what she wanted and the measurements she wanted:

It is a simple, basic pullover with no shaping with a drop shoulder, just slightly tighter at hem from a 1x1 ribbing.

I was going to write this up as a pattern with multiple sizes but it should be relatively easy for you to modify this based on your gauge, yarn based on the width and enough you want.
