• DESCRIPTION

The blanket is really huge and squishy, perfect for those cold autumn/winter days.

Knit with a soft alpaca wool blend, this really is a blanket that you will want to make!

Yarn

12 skeins of Yarn Art Alpine Alpaca (150g/5,28oz/120m/131.23 yds) in the color brown 432

Substitute yarn suggestion: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick

Substitute yarn suggestion: Paintbox Yarns Simply Super Chunky 10 Value Pack

Substitute yarn suggestion: Paintbox Yarns Wool Mix Super Chunky 10 Ball Value Pack

Total yardage needed for the blanket= 1,575yds.

Super Bulky/Super Chunky/18-20 Ply.

Please note if you use the super bulky/super chunky/14 ply yarn you will knit with two strands together.

If you use Jumbo yarn 07 you will knit with one strand.

Needles

25mm (US 50) 40″ circular knitting needles

Skill Level – Basic

This is a basic/beginner level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, casting on and casting off.

The pattern worked is the broken rib stitch.

Length = 70 inches / 178 cm

Width = 66 inches / 168 cm
