This is my first sized mittens pattern and is very dear to me since this is also my first time designing a whole set of accessories. Headband & Cowl and Hat pattern using same stitch pattern are also available. You have the option to buy any of these individually or as a set. The idea for these came about when I fell in love with this chevron pattern made using only knit and purl sts without any increases and decreases. I first made a headband and loved it so much that I expanded the idea to cowl in two sizes, hat, and now mittens. Instructions included for fingerless mittens or full mittens.

The mittens are knitted with worsted weight yarn at a tighter gauge to create a dense and cozy fabric for winters. Options are available for fingerless and full mittens. Make a pair for the whole family with sizes covered from 2 years to Men’s Large.

Design Features include

  • Knit from the bottom-up
  • Can be reversible if ends are woven in neatly
  • Worsted/Aran yarn knit at a tight gauge to make for a cozy fabric.
