This design includes a fun twisted fringe along the bottom edge and beautiful lace. The scarf is worked in 2 pieces from the bottom up to halfway point, then grafted together. Don’t be intimidated by the fringe, it is fun and a great way to add a little fun to an outfit. The fringe will not fray or unravel as it is incorporated into the knitting. I have included step-by-step photo instructions for creating the TFS (twisted fringe stitch) at the beginning of the pattern to help you through. The lace is both written and charted. You can easily adjust the length by eliminating repeats of the lace. This would also be lovely in a DK weight adding a few inches in width. Happy knitting!
