Cindy’s Knots of Love

Cindy’s Knots of Love has a Celtic flair and is a versatile pattern that can be used for many things.

Sizes, yarn amounts and repeats are included for:
Scarf - 4 different lengths
Table Runners - 4 different lengths
Baby Blanket to Larger Blankets - 5 sizes

Use basically any type of yarn ~ acrylic, cotton or blends in virtually any yarn weight you’d like.

The measurements are given using #4 worsted weight yarn, but if you’d like your finished project a bit smaller, use #3 yarn.

If you want a nice heavy throw rug or lapghan, use #5 weight yarn. The possibilities are endless!

It is a great beginner pattern and works up fast. Use any colors you wish as long as they contrast each other so the design shows.

Finished sizes:
39” x 7” - base size without repeating

39” x 13” through 81” x 13” - 4 lengths of table runners

39” x 39” through 81” x 84” - 5 sizes of blankets

All include the number of repeats and yarn amounts necessary for each.

Stitches Used - US Terms:
Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
BLSC - Back Loop Single Crochet
FLDC - Front Loop Double Crochet 2 Rows Down

Skill Level:
Beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting (stitches listed above), you will be able to do this project. Mosaic crochet looks a lot more complex than it really is. This is a great pattern to try if you’ve never done mosaic overlay crochet.
