For some reason, winter always hits my hands the hardest. If you’re like me and you spend the whole cold season with freezing hands, you’ll know how lovey mittens can make you feel. These ones in particular will make you feel extra lovely - with their subtle cable texture they work brilliantly with both variegated or solid yarn.

The pattern comes with instructions for the mitts and a detailed tutorial on how to make the afterthought thumbs used for the mitts. The pattern’s designed to be created with a cuff in a complementary colour, but you can also make the whole thing in one colour.

Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm (4”) measured over reverse stockinette.
