To circumnavigate means to travel all the way around something – usually an island, a continent, the entire planet Earth, or in this case, your neck :)

A loop is an eminently practical piece. I love that once you put it on it stays put. You can wrap it around twice to keep your neck warm, or let it hang as a single loop looking attractive, but always ready to keep you warm if needed.

I’m not a fan of the super bulky ones though, so when I got my hands on this amazing light weight and buttery soft Silky Merino, I knew it would be the perfect material for a loop. I designed it so it scrunches up nicely along the wavy lines of the pattern (sort of like an accordion), again to ensure there is not too much bulk when you wrap it around twice. The geometric stitch pattern is also intended to showcase the gorgeous stitch definition of this yarn, and is non-frilly enough to be worn by guys and gals alike.

Pattern instructions are both written and charted.
