I needed a fun beginner project to teach a crochet class. Something that would be more fun than a washcloth, but look more complicated than the standard dc scarf without it being too difficult. I included LOTS of photos for this project so that the students could go home and continue working on the repetitive stitches and possibly finish the garment based on basic pattern reading skills which will also be taught in the class. Can’t wait to try this with my first real crochet class and hope they enjoy working on this and the art of crochet.
