I call this the “City Shawl” because it has no flowers, trees, leaves, or feathers worked into the lace. There’s no fluttery finge. It’s a supersimple, easily memorizable mesh lace pattern, interspersed with layers of just plain garter stitch.

Straightforward design, straightforward instructions, clean lines. Inspiring, right?
