Crochet you very own Claret Cup Cactus, also known as King Cup or Echinocereus triglochidiatus. Claret Cup grows wild in the dry southwest US and sprouts beautiful red flowers in the springtime. The spherical stems grow in clusters, so feel free to crochet a single stem or a big mound of them. If you like, you can create a custom arrangement by combining the Claret Cup with other crocheted plant patterns such as my String of Pearls, Moon Cactus, and Hen & Chicks patterns.

When made as instructed, finished size of pot and plant measures 6 inches/15 cm tall and 5 inches/13 cm wide. The finished pot is 1.5 inches/4 cm tall and 5 inches/13 cm wide.
