There are several patterns for containers for holding your plastic bags in the kitchen…BUT …I wanted to design one that had pizzazz!
Enter Clarisse.. the quirky monkey that lends her large sized tummy to the job of holding all your plastic bags while being discreet!
She is a large girl with plenty of room in her body for a lot of bags. Her super frilly lacy skirt hides her body that can be lumpy or bulgy depending on the amount of bags she is hiding. The skirt itself is done in a lace pattern and does take a lot of yarn and time.. but in the end is worthwhile.
The pdf slso gives the instructions for the banana earrings and the half peeled banana she is munching on.
She is knit in typical monkey colours but one could make her in any bright colour to match your kitchen and add even more style too.
Bring a smile to the face of all who enter your kitchen.. make your own Clarisse!
