This is a classic A-line style long-sleeved cardigan with clearly defined vertical lines and V-neck opening.

It is designed to meet my need for hand knits that would not look ridiculous on bigger sizes.

It is to be easily customized to real measurements. That is why two sizes are given so far within the instructions representing two very differently shaped bodies. Ample shapes do vary in proportions much more than slim sizes do. I definitely want to see more big girls gladly wearing their own custom made knits. It is worth the extra effort!

Special note on original yarn:
Made from a special yarn that will shrink and bloom after washing, you have to get your gauge from a washed swatch but knit along instructions with unwashed yarn.

“On special request I will add any size you want to have in any gauge you want to knit.

2009-31-08:Addendum:

There has been a growing demand on customizing this pattern which I cannot manage any more in my spare time. I will stop this service for free by September 2009 and hope to see some projects coming up.

Those who are waiting for their pattern due to my internet connectivity mysery will receive their pattern by next week.

If there are any questions aside from getting a customized pattern, I certainly will be glad to help.
