CLASSIC SUN SUIT This sun suit is a timeless baby classic. What makes it special is the yarn. It is SOOO cuddly and soft that it was hard to get a good photo because the model kept hugging herself and giggling in her enjoyment of the fabric! Yarn: Pitter-Patter from Hobby Lobby. This is a washable polyester yarn. 1 skein needed for smallest size. Larger sizes may require 2 skeins. Rewind the yarn onto cones before beginning. Gauge: 16 stitches and 23 rows=4” on mid-gauge machine at stitch size 9 or size to get gauge. Artisan machine was used for sample. Studio mid-gauges can match gauge but at a larger stitch size. Bulkies may match gauge at a very small stitch size. Sizes: 6 month, 12 month and 2 year size approximately. Notes: 1) this yarn requires the use of weights at all times to knit smoothly. 2) Front and back of left side are knitted as one piece, front and back of right side as one piece. 3)yarn holds up to washing nicely but will stretch out of shape if hung so dry flat and store it folded. It is probably possible to machine dry on a gentle cycle but test your swatch to be certain!
